White is the colour of cohesion. The all pervading consciousness whose form is knowledge is compared to light. Enlightment is the nature of the centripetal-tendency. White is the basis of all colours. No dyer can dye something white.
All other colours are superimposed on white. White exists before and remains after all other colours. That in which all is found but where no differentiation takes place can be called white. This is the true nature of divinity.
Difference is the work of ignorance, the power which by suppressing one colour causes another to appear. Therefore, it is best to be in white colour clothes while in meditation to experience the unexplainable happenings. |
