Health is the greatest blessing. Without it, man cannot do even the lighest work. Health is an indispensable requisite for progress in material, moral, political, economic, artistic and spiritual field of life.
Health and happiness go together. Happiness is a vain dream if health is absent. Man looks for ease and yet recks with dis-ease.
The human body is a powerful machine, possessing super powers of healing itself, but there is a need to create such environment. Human body is tiny sample of the universe in every respect and should be balanced by the five vital energies like earth, fire, air, water and space. We consume water and food, breath the air and thus maintain heat in our body. We are alive on account of the life force given by ether. The earth is the first element which gives fine shape to the body including bones, tissues, muscles, skin, hair and etc. Water is the second element representing blood secretions of the glands, vital fluid and etc. Fire is the third element that gives emotion, vigor, vitality to the body. It also helps digestion, circulation and simulation besides respiration and the nervous system. Above all, ether is the characteristic of our mental and spiritual faculties.
These vital energies are actually located in the spine. These energies are also called as the coiled-energy which is very apt, because it is very powerful and alert as a snake coiled 3.5 times resembling the structure of DNA. The coiled-energy symbolically represented by a coiled serpent lying in our body at the base of the spine, is actually the latent spiritual power that lies dormant in us. As per the modern science, we have tiny cells, ranging from 10 to 30 trillion (with north pole and south pole), each weighing one nano gram with size of 10mu.m and they communicate themselves 100000 times per second. These functions in the micro level function of the human body are constructed with divine energy. For an example, the Chinese and Japanese also reveal these type of energy. In the human body they have identified 12 meridians meaning energy flow - chi in Chinese and ki in Japanese.
A meditation practitioner who has gone into a very deep meditation can easily develop a psychosomatic medicine in himself that deals with the relationship between the mind and body. Human body is composed of 96 forces. These are both physical and metaphysical. Therefore a person’s health can be affected by physical, emotional, mental or karmic disturbances. A meditation practitioner with strong mind power considers nature and man as essentially one. A close relationship is found to exist between the external world and the internal system of human. Meditation practitioners always maintain that the structure of the human body is a miniature world in itself.
Diseases has no distinction. It may afflict anybody, be it a pauper or a millionaire. Medicines and tablets gives only temporary relief. It does not have permanent cure for diseases. However, meditation can provide permanent cure for diseases.
Medicines on their own cannot cure diseases. It is the divine grace and meditation power that cures. The physicians-doctors only treat but it is God that cures. Transfer your faith from pills to providence. Put your trust in your own God and not in medicines. Resort to prayers and not injections. No tablet is as effacious as meditation.
